Leaving Pearl Bay this morning proved a bit bumpy. Crossing the shallows to the East meant some decent swell dropping the bow well under the waves.....exhilarating!
Our target is Middle Percy Is. The special thing about this island is a hut on the beach of West Bay where mariners leave momentos of their vessels.....you'll understand when you see the pics.
We had a good sail with the prevailing Sou Wester still pushing us North but saw it drop over the day. We had a small pod of dolphins join us for a while but no whales on this day.
This was the first day that we saw other travellers close by.... and all heading for Middle Percy.
Note how picturesque the approach to the Island is only to be out done by arriving.
